报告题目：The Extended Finite Element Method Applied to Fracture

内容简介：The extended finite element method (XFEM), is a numerical technique based on the generalized finite element method (GFEM) and the partition of unity method (PUM). It extends the classical finite element method (FEM) approach by enriching the solution space for solutions to differential equations with discontinuous functions.

报告人简介：Prof. Goangseup, Zi (池桄熠)，韩国高丽大学Full Professor，Structural Engineering & Mechanics Lab实验室负责人，2002年博士毕业于美国西北大学，师从美国科学院院士Z. P. Bazant 教授。目前，已发表SCI国际期刊论文100多篇，其中，以第一作者或通讯作者发表60余篇。博士期间，与美国科学院院士Ted Belytschko 教授合作发表的2篇论文为扩展有限元(XFEM)的理论开发和应用奠定了基础。目前，研究主要集中于力学在各种工程系统中的应用，包括：断裂力学及扩展有限元，化学-力学耦合混凝土劣化模拟程序开发，各种海上及沿海结构设计标准编著(海上风力发电塔，spudcan桩基础，超大型海上悬浮结构) ，玻璃及加筋混凝土等新材料开发，大挠度钢结构设计及数值模拟，天然气管道设计等。
